Zahid made that promise during his speech at the people session in Kampung Masjid, Balingian, Mukah, today attended by over 500 people.
Also present were Mukah MP, Datuk Seri Muhammad Leo Toyad and the BN candidate for the Legislative Assembly (DUN) Balingian, Abdul Yakub Arbi.
Zahid also handed out RM600,000 federal funds for village development and security committee (JKKK) in 86 longhouses in Balangian.
He also promised to tackle the problem menadaptkan locals such as clean water, better drainage, road construction and a high school that was promised by Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin at the 2013 general election.
