State Health Department confirmed that a female teacher in schools in Phase included HSB (HSB) in Alor Setar yesterday after allegedly bitten by a snake, actually it was not bitten by venomous animals.
Norhizan director Datuk Dr Ismail said the hospital examination results on the teachers had not found any indication or impression of snake bites on his left leg.
"The teacher was placed in the female medical ward at the hospital for observation and monitoring information.
"Medical experts have found that teachers are in stable condition, without any signs of snake bites before being allowed to return to her this morning," he said in a statement today.
He said the teachers had arrived at the emergency unit of the hospital about 12.40pm yesterday complaining of numbness in his left foot after allegedly bitten sawa kind of bird when taking the goods in the school store.
